Accident at Gravel Hill crossroads, Swanmore

There was another accident at the notorious Gravel Hill and Forest Road/Bishop’s Wood Road crossroads in Swanmore yesterday. Police were called to a report of a two-vehicle road traffic accident on Forest Road in Swanmore. The road was closed for a time and police say there was a collision involving a Tesla and Toyota. The occupants suffered Minor injuries.


Barclays says no to bringing its van to Bishop’s Waltham

Barclays Bank has refused a request from Bishop’s Waltham Parish Council on behalf of residents to bring it mobile van to the town. The bank said its van would continue to visit Wickham as the “Square was much busier from a footfall perspective we decided to go with that location.”


Citizen’s Advice at Bishop’s Waltham Library 

Winchester District Citizens Advice is running regular advice sessions at Bishops Waltham Library. There is no need for an appointment and trained advisers will be able to help. The next dates are all Wednesday between 10 and 1pm on February 14th and 28th, March 13th and 27th and April 10th and 24th
