Campers Leave Field Strewn With Litter

Wild campers have been criticised for leaving a field in a “disgusting” state.

Tents were spotted in a field off Mill Lane in Wickham yesterday.

The campers have now gone but have left lots of litter all over the place – including one of their tents.

The mess has been widely condemned on social media.

One person said: “If you wild camp you leave the place like no one has been there.”

Another said: “How hard is it to just pick stuff up?”
