Dementia-friendly concert in Bishop's Waltham

A dementia-friendly singalong concert will take place in Bishop’s Waltham in May.

The event is being staged by Southampton Concert Wind Band, with support from the Meon Valley Lions Club, on Saturday May 11th at the Jubilee Hall in Little Shore Lane.

It is entirely free for the audience, both those living with dementia and their carers and welcoming tea and cake is also free.

The audience, which will be kept to approximately 80 people, will be seated around tables, cabaret style. Song sheets and table activities will be available and it is expected that lyrics will also be projected onto a screen.

Tickets can be booked from www.ticketsource.co.uk/scwb, choosing the event All Together Now! A passcode from SCWB is needed to claim the tickets – by request from enquiries@scwb.org.uk www.scwb.org.uk People can claim as many tickets as they need but organisers ask that any that won’t be used.

Doors will open at 3pm and the concert will start at 3.30pm and last for an hour.
