Descendents of D-Day commanders meet at Southwick House 80 years since Operation Overlord began

Descendants of the D-Day commanders who led the Allied invasion of Normandy in 1944 today replicated a famous photograph taken in 1944 at Southwick House.

William Ramsay, grandson of Admiral Sir Bertram Ramsay, Richard Tedder, son of Air Chief Marshal Sir Arthur Tedder, Susan Eisenhower, granddaughter of General Dwight D. Eisenhower and Viscount Henry Montgomery, grandson of General Sir Bernard Montgomery are pictured.

The meeting took place at at the Southwick Revival event which is taking place in Southwick, the village where final planning of D-Day took place.
