By Times Reporter in Crime News on October 28, 2021

Thieves burgled a hair salon in Bishop’s Waltham last night and ripped out a sink leaving water pouring into the premises.

Lauren McCarthy-Britton, owner of L.McCarthy Hairdressing in Free Street, said she was “absolutely devastated.” She added: “Last night my salon was burgled. They took so much stuff I’m gutted – they actually ripped my whole sink out and left the place to flood out.”

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “We were called at around 6.30am this morning  to reports that a number of industrial units had been broken into off Free Street in Bishops Waltham.

“The incident is suspected to have taken place some time overnight. Officers have attended, and enquiries remain ongoing to establish the circumstances and what may have been stolen.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting 44210432174.
