Lib Dems Make Election Gains Including Winning Upper Meon Valley By Just Ten Votes
Liberal Democrats have made gains across the Meon Valley at the expense of the Conservatives including taking the Upper Meon Valley district council seat by just 10 votes.
And The Green Party added another seat, when Danny Lee won Central Meon Valley from the Conservatives, gaining more than double the vote .ncillor Hugh Lumby stood down, has fallen to Lib Dem Jerry Petty (pictured).
Elsewhere, Lib Dem Jonathan Williams took the Bishop’s Waltham seat from the Conservatives
Lib Dem Chris Chamberlain was victorious in Southwick and Wickham, Achwal Sudhakar Kedareshwar retained Whiteley and Shedfield for the Lib Dems.
The Conservatives held on to Denmead.
