Man Charged With Assaulting Child In Bishop’s Waltham Park

A MAN has been charged with assaulting a child following an incident in Bishop’s Waltham last weekend.

Police were called just after 2.35pm following a report of a man threatening a group of teenagers at Priory Park.

One of the teenagers was left with a small cut following the incident. Officers attended and made an arrest.

Phillip Warren, 40, of no fixed abode, appeared before Southampton Magistrates Court after being charged with assaulting a teenager in Priory Park.

He has pleaded guilty and has been granted conditional bail to appear back before the court on October 14th.

The man has been released under investigation in relation to an allegation of using threatening or abusive behaviour.
