Men arrested following reports of anti-social behaviour at Swanmore Village Hall have been bailed

Two men arrested in Swanmore over the weekend have been bailed.

Police were called at 10.51pm on Saturday following reports of anti-social behaviour outside the Village Hall in New Road, Swanmore.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “It was reported that loud music was being played and that cars were being driven dangerously and used in an anti-social way.

“Officers from Roads Policing and District Policing Teams attended the scene and arrested two men. Four vehicles were seized.”

A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving over the prescribed alcohol limit and immigration offences. He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries into the driving incident, and bailed until Monday June 3rd for immigration offences.

Vakamuina Muundjua, 33, of Duke Street, Southport, was charged with driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level above limit and driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence. He has been bailed and is due to appear at Portsmouth Magistrates Court on Thursday June 20th.
