Meon Valley Hit By Series Of Burglaries And Attempted Break-Ins

THE Meon Valley has been hit by a series of burglaries and break-ins over the past ten days.

Police are investigating a series of burglaries in Bishops Waltham and Upham and also in Winchester – and there have been reports of a number of break-ins at outbuildings in West Meon.

The burglaries the police are looking into took place on September 7th. One of them occurred at an address on Beeches Hill, Bishops Waltham  at some point between 0830 and 1400 hours.

A police spokesperson said: “Were you at home on that day? Did you see or hear anything suspicious? Did you see anyone who is not from the area or any strange vehicles? Have you been approached by anyone at your home address in the last few days and you found it unusual?
