Meonstoke school offers ‘virtual Tour’ to new Parents

A leading local school is offering a ‘Virtual Tour’ of the school for parents who have children starting school in September 2021.

The current COVID restrictions have made it impossible to offer face-to-face tours so Meonstoke Church of England School is offering parents or guardians the opportunity to view the school via a virtual ‘Zoom’ presentation and ‘tour’ at 4pm on Thursday 26th November.

There will also be an opportunity for parents to ask any questions.

Meonstoke C of E Infant school is set in the heart of the Meon Valley within the quiet village of Meonstoke.  The school makes the most of its rural setting, by using open spaces in order for them to deliver the curriculum as much as possible through outdoor learning.

The School believes children can learn creatively in the forest air, where they can ‘Nurture, Grow and Flourish’ – the School’s new motto.

With a maximum of 27 children per class (not restricted to catchment area), children are offered the opportunity to benefit from being part of a smaller than average class, supported by a class teacher and an LSA. This combined with long-serving teaching and support staff – Meonstoke C of E Infant school nurtures children in an environment where they can watch each child grow and help them flourish on their way together with a strong Christian ethos and good links to the local community.

With the added facilities in place to offer wrap-around care for pupils, who need to be at school early for breakfast club from 8am and stay a little later until 6pm.  Along with dedicated on-site parking, Meonstoke C of E offers a great start to your day and a great start to your child’s educations.

To secure a place on their first virtual open afternoon, please contact the school office on: 01489 877568. If you are unable to make this date, there will be further offerings of dates before the closing of applications on 15th January 2021.
