Motorcyclist dies in A272 collision

A 25-year-old man died this morning following a collision between a lorry and a motorcycle on the A272 at Langrish.

Police were called at 7.26am this morning. Sadly the motorcyclist, from Waterlooville, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “We would ask that anyone with information to make contact. We would be particularly keen to hear from anyone with dash-cam footage that may assist our investigation.

“Due to nature of enquiries needing to be completed, we are expecting the A272 will remain closed between Langrish and Bordean Lane for a number of hours.”
