Bishop Waltham’s new branch of the national home improvement chain Screwfix has opened.

The store, which is located in one of the new business units at the Quarry Business Park in Lower Lane, opened yesterday.

Eleven new jobs have been created with the opening of the branch. Our picture shows two of them, Janice Dennett from Hedge Edge and Wayne Aitken from Waltham Chase.

From power tools and work wear to cables and pipe fittings, Screwfix offers over 10,000 products available for pick up from over 860 stores nationwide.

Screwfix is part of Chandlers Ford-based Kingfisher plc, which has more than 1,400 stores, supported by a team of over 80,000 employees, in 10 countries in Europe and Turkey.
