Popular Fish And Chip Shop Temporarily Closes Doors Over Covid Alert Pings

By Times Reporter in Eating Out News on August 9, 2021

Bishop’s Waltham’s popular fish and chip shop Paul’s Plaice has been forced to close its doors temporarily due to staff shortages.

The High Street chippy is short-staffed due to covid alert pings which have led to team members awaiting Covid test results.

It is hoped the takeaway will be open again soon, possibly in a few days. Paul’s Plaice said: “Sorry for any inconvenience and we hope to see you soon!”
