Cott Street, Swanmore, flooded after heavy rain

A road in Swanmore has been closed after flooding because of blocked drains leaving it resembling a river.

Cott Street, which runs from the Hunter’s Inn pub to the A32, is impassable.

Reports of blocked drains have been made to Hampshire County Council, but have not been actioned.

Swanmore Parish Council said: “The blocked drains not helping the flooding have been reported (many times).”
