Teenage Motorcyclist Dies In Collision In Curdridge
Police are appealing for information from the public after a 17-year-old boy died in a road traffic collision in Curdridge on Friday.
Police were called just after 6pm to a report of a road traffic collision on Botley Road involving a blue Volkswagen Caddy and a black Yamaha motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old boy, was taken to Southampton General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers. The driver of the Volkswagen, a woman in her 50s, was not injured.
The road was closed for approximately five hours while emergency services dealt with the incident but has since fully reopened.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Police said: “We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened or has dash cam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to it.

Such a sad waste of a beautiful young man. His life has been cut short so tragically devastating his amazing family and all his friends. He did not deserve this.
