A teenager accused of murdering his mother in Hambledon last year has died.
Rowan Thompson, 18, who was due to stand trial tomorrow for the murder of his mother Joanna, reportedly died at a secure mental health facility in Greater Manchester where he was being held.
Thompson had previously admitted the manslaughter of Joanna, 50, who was found dead at her home in Hambledon on July 1st 2019, but had denied murder. Joanna had suffered injuries to her neck.
The trial has now been cancelled.
