Thieves Put Popular Local Business Out Of Action For Second Time
A popular local business has been put out of action for the second time in eleven months after thieves broke in and stole equipment.
Sam Spelling, the owner of Sam’s Mobile Catering which is well-known across the Meon Valley, said she couldn’t believe what had happened at her business in West Meon.
She wrote: “I’m sorry to say that I won’t be in Droxford tonight …… it’s hard to write this and tell you why because I can’t really believe it myself.
“They came back – cleared me out again, even took the freezers this time.”
Sam’s business was first targeted last October after thieves broke into its trailer and shed, stealing equipment and stock and vandalising the premises.
Then local people rallied round and a JustGiving page was created by one resident so that people could donate to support Sam’s business.
