“We’re Not Closing Anytime Soon” Say Restaurant Bosses

By Times Reporter in News on September 18, 2020

The bosses of a popular restaurant in Waltham Chase where a planning application for homes has been submitted say they have no plans to close.

We reported earlier this week that a planning application for seven homes on the Anatolian Turkish restaurant site has been submitted to Winchester City Council and that the building is listed on the Right Move website for sale at £1.3 million.

But the restaurant, which serves Turkish food and has won plaudits from diners on the Tripadvisor website and of the 341 reviews, 328 are either four or five stars, says: “We are open and have a lease until 2033, we will be open as usual and not closing anytime soon.

“Please feel free to book in for your meals or order your deliveries and collections as usual online or over the phone on 01489890144.

“We will be here for the foreseeable future. Thank you for all your support during this time and hope to see you all soon.”
