Young Farmers Gear Up For Charity Tractor Run
Young farmers will be staging their annual tractor run this Saturday on a 30-mile route around the Meon Valley.
Dozens of tractors driven by members of the South East Hants Young Farmers Club will visit towns and villages starting in Lower Upham and finishing at the Chairmakers pub in Denmead.
This year the club has chosen to donate all takings to two charities with strong connections to the club, with the money raised being equally split between Alzheimer’s UK and Bowel Cancer UK.
This is the route:
• Fair Oak Square: 9.20am
• Botley High street: 10am
• Bishop’s Waltham Square: 10.45am
• Wickham Square: 11.30am
• Mick’s Monster Burgers: 12.30pm
• Southwick Village: 1pm
• Denmead: 1.30pm
There will be donation buckets at every major high street on the route but people can also donate on the group’s GoFundMe page.
